Broadsea used to be a thriving village community, older than, and separate from Fraserburgh.
It has now been enveloped by the town and is a conservation area.
The 10ft x 10ft model of Broadsea was built by Fraserburgh Academy and
Fraserburgh North School pupils from 1989 to 1992
as part of a research project and shows the village as it was in 1861.
Broadsea farm can be seen in the left corner.
A one hour video on this display shows the pupils working (and singing) on the project.
